Falfish Ltd, a leading multi-species seafood processor located in Cornwall, came to us with significant requirements for additional space. ProjectLink successfully relocated staff welfare facilities to a previously under utilised part of the factory and converted the resultant space into highly efficient production areas and coldstores that fully comply with BRC standards.
Barton & White are specialist producers of premium hand made chilled and frozen desserts. Due to significant growth in their business, they identified a need for a production and storage expansion. Ensuring that the works did not disrupt the existing food production areas was a key feature of this project. In close liaison with the clients management team, works were carried out in a fully coordinated programme.
ProjectLink obtained planning permission and building control approval for two extensions to the building and loading docks. We also replaced the ceiling to the freezer store, as well as alterations and refurbishments to various areas of the meat processing facility.
Uniq manufacture chilled desserts and fresh sandwiches, wraps & salads. We lined the existing production areas with hygienic GRP sheeting and also installed new fire rated insulated panels to the walls and ceiling. We also constructed the steelwork, cladding and doors to form a new loading dock extension.
Sparks Catering are one of the major wholesalers specialising in the fast food market in the South East of England. ProjectLink undertook a full fit out of the new facility, including the installation of a mezzanine floor over the new coldstores to allow for the maximum storage levels Sparks required.
Markus Products is an established business manufacturing flavoured butter spreads and oils. ProjectLink converted areas of their existing facility so that they would be able to manufacture sachet sauces. Their aim was to extend the range of ‘add-on’ products that Markus Products could offer their customers.
Dennis Oates Transport are an international haulage company with a large fleet of high quality temperature controlled vehicles. The company employed ProjectLink to build a new 500 pallet holding freezer in one of the large dry goods warehouses at the premises in Cornwall.
Imagefarm are manufacturers of poultry, meat and non-meat added value frozen foods. ProjectLink were tasked with demolishing an existing section of the their premises, a new temperature controlled building was constructed, which was undertaken as a single turn key project that involved piling the ground, erecting new steelwork and cladding through to completing an 800 pallet freezer store.
Godminster Cheese are producers of award winning organic cheeses in Bruton, Somerset. Project Link were tasked with the challenge of converting part of a warehouse previously used for storage into a high tech hygienic production facility for the business to expend the production of their organic soft cheese. A new facility was constructed within an existing building incorporating a sequence of temperature and humidity rooms with stainless steel floor drains and resin floor coatings laid to falls, as well as a drive-in refrigeration unit and demountable sections to allow for equipment access.
AM Seafoods are one the UK’s leading shellfish processors and employed Project Link to design, plan and construct a new processing facility which doubled their production capacity. The new facility incorporates low care raw goods reception chiller, high care cooking area with steam production, ventilation, and various production lines, chilling and packing areas, blast freezers and a holding freezer, as well as staff welfare areas and all of the associated facilities to support this.
